Our Vision

Rockway Mennonite Church welcomes people of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages and abilities to full participation, inclusion and membership. Leadership, pastoral ministry positions, and every part of church life are open to all members. We support same sex marriage. Our vision is to be an open and welcoming faith community to all. Summer Long Weekend – No Worship Service at Rockway

Front of church building

We are a vibrant and participatory congregation meeting in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. Members and friends come from a variety of backgrounds and denominations, drawn together in worship and in the life of a caring community.  Committed to love of God and neighbour, we seek to work toward peace and justice in our world while deepening our spirituality in the way and wisdom of Jesus Christ.  We are open to newcomers and seek to create space for new initiatives and ideas.

During this time of physical distancing, you can join us online by viewing our Worship Service, available on YouTube beginning at 10am on Sunday mornings, and via our live Zoom call, for congregational prayer and sharing, which takes place at 11am. We invite you to email our pastor, Scott Brubaker-Zehr, for the Sunday morning links or if you have any questions. Past sermons are available under the Sunday Morning tab. We look forward to meeting you!
